Trauma Comes In All Sizes

Workplaces are only becoming more stressful, so we've designed a unique program to help

Trauma Recovery Aotearoa is committed to creating healthier, happier, and safer workplaces by working directly with businesses such as yours. We specialise in providing comprehensive training solutions that empower organisations to understand and respond to trauma effectively by viewing their staff as real people living real lives, not as behaviours or symptoms.

Trauma is typically associated with physical injury, accidents, and emergency situations. However, trauma also includes psychological harm which doesn’t always present in obvious ways, and can be the result of smaller events building up over time, particularly in stressful environments such as the workplace.

Psychological trauma and its impact on staff can be difficult to identify without training. These impacts include heightened stress sensitivity, chronic lateness, pessimism and cynicism, avoidance of team work, trouble concentrating, angry outbursts and irritability, difficulty making decisions, and general low morale and mood.

Workplace trauma exists but with awareness we can heal it.
