This is so that we can explain how our service works and you can decide if we sound like the right place for you.
Your triage session can be in person, by phone, or online.
Accessible Support for Everyone
At Trauma Recovery Aotearoa, we believe that no one should miss out on counselling because of financial circumstances.
Our standard counselling fee is $150 per session. If paying the full fee isn’t possible, please don’t let cost stop you from reaching out. We offer a flexible koha model and subsidised spaces for those experiencing financial hardship. We’ll talk through your situation during your free triage session, work with you to find an option that feels manageable, and tell you more about our services.
Healing should be accessible to everyone, and together we can make that possible.
Service Costs
If you are worried about costs, we encourage you to book your triage session, and we can discuss your options then. We will do what we can to support you.
Triage session: Free (in person, online, or by phone).
Standard counselling fee: $150 per session (incl. GST).
Peer Support Groups: $20 per session (incl. GST).
10-week Therapy Programmes: $450 (incl. GST).
Hardship subsidy: Available for people experiencing financial hardship.
Terms and Conditions:
Appointments cancelled before 24 hours, no charge
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours may be charged 50%
Appointments missed and not cancelled within 24 hours in advance may be charged at 100% of the booked rate.
Invoices not settled within 90 days of the date of invoice may be referred to debt collection services. All collection costs will be added to the final amount owing.
