Trauma Awareness in the Workplace
Creating safer workplaces through trauma-informed awareness
Trauma can affect anyone, influencing how people think, communicate, and respond to everyday situations. In healthcare settings, understanding the impact of trauma can strengthen relationships, improve workplace culture, and support better outcomes for both staff and the people they care for.
This interactive workshop provides an introduction to trauma awareness in the workplace. Participants will learn how to recognise signs of trauma in themselves and others, not to provide clinical interventions, but to foster more compassionate, psychologically safe, and trauma-informed environments.
